Dr. David Fletcher, of the "Hey Fletch" column
, has served the local church for more than 35 years. He has served in churches in Dallas, Austin, Akron and Fullerton, working with churches from 1,000 to 8,000 members, single to multisite, churches with camps, schools, apartments and cafes. Fletch brings an objective perspective, broad knowledge and vast experience. He's a "church doctor" and friend.
Fletch founded XPastor
in 2003 and has seen it become the primary source of coaching and resources for Executive Pastors. The mission of XPastor is to "equip, coach and lead" those who lead and manage the church. Our tribe is church leaders, Executive Pastors, Senior Pastors, Pastors, Finance Personnel and Board Members. XPastor is a global tool for churches of all sizes and has helped thousands of church leaders throughout the world.

From 2005 onwards, Fletch teaches Church Leadership to Doctor of Ministry students at the Dallas Theological Seminary
. At the Evangelical Theological Seminary of India, he made a ten-year commitment to help found their D. Min. program and has trained a national Indian leader to replace himself. He is certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and trained in conflict resolution. David was also founding board member of OC United.
Fletch received two graduate degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary and has taken executive education classes at the Kellogg School of Management and the Harvard Business School.
When he's not actively involved in ministry and teaching, David loves to walk and exercise with his wife, Tami, and he loves scuba diving and rowing 10,000 meters a day.
