Rusty brings more than 30 years of ministry leadership experience as a church planter and lead pastor. He is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church. Before entering full-time ministry, Rusty helped launch and grow a successful small business, an experience that shaped his understanding of organizational health, vision, and stewardship. He later attended Asbury Theological Seminary and began serving as a local pastor.

Rusty spent 22 years planting and leading a church that grew into a multiplying congregation, launching new churches both in the United States and internationally. Most recently, he guided a congregation through a significant season of transformational change—resulting in renewed vision, spiritual vitality, and strengthened financial health.

Throughout his ministry, Rusty has mentored and coached pastors, helping them navigate growth, organizational complexity, and the challenges of leading thriving congregations. He is passionate about helping the local church flourish—especially in the areas of discipleship, multiplication, and generosity.

Rusty and his wife, Becky, live in Auburn, Alabama. They have three children and two grandchildren. Rusty enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, time with family, and college sports.
