Whitney Clayton serves as a Church Strategist at Generis, where he helps churches unlock a culture of generosity and financial freedom. With more than 20 years of vocational ministry experience in the church, Whitney brings insight and empathy shaped by serving in nearly every kind of church environment - mega churches, mid-sized congregations, and brand-new church plants.

He began serving the church by leading youth and small group ministries, before spending five as an Executive Pastor in a rapidly growing church, after which he spent a decade planting and pastoring a church, before following God’s call to strategic coaching to help churches rediscover the power of generosity in a disciple’s life. Along the way, he and Ali have launched multiple businesses, raised four awesome kids, and found joy in serving God through his church. Whether he's helping churches build systems, shape culture, or inspire generosity, Whitney is passionate about equipping pastors to thrive and people to embrace their role as faithful stewards.

Whitney is a collaborative leader who excels at translating timeless principles into practical strategies that fit a church’s unique context. His deep love for the local church - and the people who make it work - is at the heart of everything he does.

He and his wife Ali have been married for 16 years and live in Mesa, Arizona with their three sons and daughter. On any given weekend you can find them watching football (Roll Tide!), swimming (because that’s what you do in Arizona), or pursuing some wild family adventure.
