About Jon Bennett

Jon Bennett is a seasoned leader with a proven track record in ministry, nonprofit management, and strategic consulting. With a diverse background spanning campus ministry, pastoral roles, church planting, and nonprofit leadership, Jon has developed a unique perspective on organizational growth and impact.

As a skilled communicator, leadership coach, and senior-level generosity strategist, Jon has worked alongside some of the most dynamic churches and ministries in the United States. His decades of experience have culminated in successful capital campaigns, raising millions of dollars for various initiatives, from building expansions to outreach programs.

Jon's expertise extends beyond pastoral ministry. He has served as a Senior Consultant for a financial services group, guiding multiple churches through a capital campaign process. His ability to navigate complex leadership matters and inspire generosity has made him a sought-after advisor in the faith-based community.

In 2011, Jon was called to lead Ministry Ventures, a nonprofit organization dedicated to simplifying the business side of faith-based ministries. Under his leadership, the organization experienced exponential growth, expanding from coaching 13 ministries to 365 in just five years. Jon's team developed innovative strategies and tools to empower ministry leaders, enabling them to focus on their core missions while streamlining their operations.

Jon's extensive experience includes training over 1500 nonprofit leaders, certifying hundreds of organizations through the Ministry Mastery program ™, and providing personal fundraising training for over 400 Fellowship of Christian Athletes staff. He has also consulted on 100+ capital campaigns with Churches all over the Nation.

A graduate of Michigan State University and Reformed Theological Seminary, Jon holds a degree in Communications and a Masters in Theology. He and his wife, Beth, have been married for 36 years and are proud parents of three amazing adult children. The Bennetts currently resides in Atlanta.
