Denny Vauters is an extremely relational guy. Part of his natural wiring is connecting with people, and he is most passionate about connecting with people, and organizations around generosity and biblical stewardship.
Denny grew up as a PK and has always had a heart for serving people. He has undergraduate and graduate degrees in theology and missions and has served in various roles but the constant thread throughout his career has been cultivating generosity.
He came to Generis after serving most of his career working in K12 and university advancement efforts. He has also served in a pastoral capacity in church ministries, worked with a non-profit launching new schools, and has launched a real estate venture generating income to support global missions.
Denny is most passionate about helping non-profits help their donors understand that God loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor. 8). There is a beautiful synergy when an organization’s mission and vision align with a donor’s desires. The outcome is a blessing to both parties. Denny is eager to provide best practice, with proven experience to help grow this outcome in your organization.
Denny serves on the advisory board for Spreading Hope Network, on his church’s generosity committee, and maintains the Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential.
Second to generosity, Denny is most passionate about connecting with people around food! Denny and his wife Alicia have two children, a rescue dog, and have hosted several international students who have become family. Denny serves as an elder in his church, and they live in Greenville, SC.
